So jealous I wasn't playing for this one! (And in general.) Great job guys!

That was awesome. Like Andrej, I thought it was a bunch of trolls or something initially. When the hydra stepped out, I thought the gang was in some deep poodoo.

That was fantastic. This campaign is something that I look forward to reading during the work day and it makes me long to play in a game like it. Well done and thanks to all involved. Congratulations on a fantastic game and bitchin encounter.

You are missed Nine-Toes.

And how about a round of applause for our DM?

That was marvelous!
In my opinion, it comes close to the battle against the Bishop's forces (though way shorter, naturally).
Between hard work and raw talent, Alexis not only keeps me on the edge of my seat, but does it while running a very tight ship gaming table.
Ahmet is always an absolute hoot to read - being both effective and entertaining in one blow. Andrej and Lukas are bloody brilliant. And Maximillian's energy and willingness to jump right into the fray (figuratively and literally) makes me want to see more and more of him.
I would say that I hope this campaign goes on and on until the party's henchmen have henchmen; but that appears to already be the case.
And on top of all of it, this is a tremendous resource for better understanding how Alexis' D&D modifications/innovations work in practice, as well as allowing me to .. er.. borrow numerous ideas for my own campaigns.
Thank you all.

Hear Hear Andrej.

You know, one of the fascinating things about Alexis is that he's managed to keep flexibility in his playing style, retaining a willingness to experiment with new rules after having spent so many thousands of hours building a world according to his old rules.

Before I began playing I followed along in the adventures, and so many times the interplay between Andrej and Ahmet had me in stitches. It's a pleasure to play with you guys (You too Lukas.)
Thanks!

I've had a great time so far. I was actually a bit concerned at first that I would have the usual feeling of mage impotency and paranoia, but actually feel like I'm contributing reasonably.

I'm always eagerly awaiting the latest update and progress for sure, and can't wait to see what the next thing will be.

Also with Alexis's more natural world I also feel like I have to take a much different, but more reasonable approach to the world. It actually changes my strategies distinctly.

Of coarse, my biggest fear was realized as I was NOT prepared for a single large creature, but it was still a good time and a great success.

I just wanted to chime in and say how much I've been enjoying this blog! Like Kyle, I was seriously worried for the party when the hydra emerged.

Well fought lads, and masterfully DM'd to boot.

I'm so happy that this campaign is back up and running.
