The Long-Standing Online Campaign, beginning in Germany, travelling through Italy and Greece to the Sea of Azov.
It is up to Ahmet. He can take one attack against the striped kobald (-1 to hit due to the stairs) or two attacks against the other one.
I would like to be able to throw a dart at someone from here. Should I be able to, I will throw my eighth dart at targets in the following preferred order. If I can see the one on the edge hex above (3502) , that one, otherwise if I am capable of weaving a dart through everyone to mr. checkered (3202), I'll try and help against that one. Otheriwse, I will wait for a clear target.D20: 16 (14 + 2)D3: 2
You posted first, is this a new turn? Or did I jump the gun?
Andrej takes another swing at the kobald in 3202:to hit: 4dmg: 6dang
Can we see more of what's beyond the stair in 3102?
Lukas, you're fine. You hit the kobald in 3502; it flops forward and dies.Andrej, you can't see what's beyond the stairs until you step to the edge (3102).Balther will move forward and attack 3202. He hits, and does 4 damage.Kushi moves to 3103 and throws a dagger. He rolls two natural 20s back to back, rolls minimum damage on his dagger and does 3 points. This is exactly the amount needed to kill 3202, and the kobald dies.
"Nice shot, Kushi."
I'm going to have to ignore the guy in 3502 for now (leaving him for Odval and Culf, hopefully), and drive Stripey up the stairs so I can get out of 3602. To hit: 16Damage: 10Take that, Stripey!
Ah, I see 3502 is already dead. Good job, Lukas!
Crap, I just remembered I wanted to leave one alive for questioning.
Always remember that at the last minute...
It's done. They are all dead.
Can I attempt mouth-to-mouth on Stripey? :)Live, damnit! LIVE!
It would explain your knowledge of relationships... or lack thereof to observe you pouncing the freshest dead monstrous enemies...
Shall we start with experience?Lukas was, of course, somewhat positioned the worst in this combat. He is only first level, and a mage to boot. Still, he managed to cause 28 damage (including the effect of his sleep spell), and took 9.Total experience for Lukas, including 10% (which all the numbers will): 895.
Andrej was held back for quite awhile, but started to make his way ahead effectively once he climbed to the pink level. Thereupon he began to clock kobalds quite efficiently. He caused 51 damage, but took only 11 (including that which was compensated for by the spell).Andrej's total experience: 1,192
Overall, Ahmet caused the most damage and took the most damage. His last two hits pushed him ahead of Andrej, who had for awhile surpassed the group. And although Ahmet can't do a thing to revive Stripey, he caused 56 damage and took a devastating 33.Total experience for Ahmet: 1,731
Well, I'm only good at two things... giving damage and taking damage. Mission accomplished!
I believe that puts me over the top to reach Level 4 (8,001, right?).You may now address me as Ahmet-oglu Ahmet, the Hero.
I was looking forwards to seeing Ahmet break 2k, The numbers were climbing....On another note, I am just one more fight like that away from leveling.
Not even, Lukas. Please note the next post. Putting it up now.
Yes... and we're also both one more fight like that away from death. :)
Death means we took a lot of damage right? That's more XP isn't it?
Ahmet, roll a d10 for hit points for your fourth level.Add the added number (with constitution bonus) to both your maximum and your present hit points.
(GCI: Death means you get NO experience from either the damage taken or caused during the fight that led up to the death. It's just a cold, heartless punishment for complete failure)
The next post is up.
I can not thank you adequately for the posts on your web site. I know you'd put a lot of time and effort into them and hope you know how much I appreciate it. I hope I'll do exactly the same for someone else at some point.
